Integrating your Expedia properties with BookingAutomation

Channel Management Request

  1. Login to Expedia Extranet and under 'Rooms and rates' go to 'Connectivity settings'. Type 'BookingAutomation' as 'Provider for updating rates and availability' and 'Provider for receiving reservations' then click 'Save and continue'.

  2. You will receive an email from Expedia ([email protected]). If you don't receive an email please contact Expedia support. 

Note:  In case 'Connectivity settings' page is missing, you can email [email protected] and request a connection to BookingAutomation.

Integrating Expedia with BookingAutomation

You can complete the integration on BookingAutomation by following these steps:

  1. Select the appropriate property from Expedia Partner Central and copy the Hotel ID from the top right corner of the page. Paste the hotel ID on Expedia API management page on BookingAutomation.

   2. Select the 'Currency' and select if your Expedia 'Pricing Mode'l is 'Per Day                     Pricing' or 'Per Occupancy Pricing'. You will find this information in the activation           email from Expedia.  
   3. Click 'Save'.
   4. You can now fetch the 'Room type id' and 'Rate plan id' from Expedia by clicking           on the 'get codes' button and selecting the appropriate listing from the drop-                 down menu.
   5. Check the Inventory, Prices and Bookings and Save again to finalize the                         integration process.
